The medieval hall of Minworth Greaves at Selly Manor is a perfect venue for a civil wedding ceremony. The timber framed hall, over 600 years old, is ideal for a small and intimate ceremony. We have been holding wedding ceremonies since 2004 and staff are experienced in ensuring the booking process is simple and stress free. We are a very popular site, so early booking is recommended to ensure you get your preferred date.
“Our wedding day was perfect and the venue couldn’t have been any better”. Sam and John Howard.
“Thank you so much for making our day so special and for all of your hard work”. Steve and Sue Yarnall.
A wedding at Minworth Greaves costs £900. This is for 3 hours which includes arrival time for your guests, 30 minutes for the couple to be interviewed by the Registrar, approximately 20 minutes for the ceremony and the remaining time for photographs. A drink is included for the wedding party. The Tudor garden provides a perfect backdrop for the photographs of the day. The wedding party cannot exceed 45 (up to 40 seated guests, the wedding couple, photographer and any musicians).
We are also licenced for Commitment Ceremonies, Baby Naming Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships and Renewal of Vows. A Celebrant from the Birmingham Register Office will conduct the ceremony.
Please note, Birmingham Register Office will make an additional charge to conduct your ceremony.
