Our brand new interactive Bournville loan box and resource pack is designed to support elements of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum for History.
KS1-Significant historical events, people and places in their own locality.
KS2- A study of an aspect of history of a site dating from a period beyond 1066 that is significant in the locality.
Within the loan box you will find hands on resources, props, pictures, as well as schemes of work, lesson plans, knowledge organisers, resources and access to PowerPoint presentations.
Our loan boxes are available for schools and other learning facilitators to borrow to support the delivery of the National Curriculum in an exciting and hands on way. These aim to compliment the sessions we run on site but also help you deliver lessons prior or post visits. Our loan boxes are available to hire for two weeks at a cost of £40 or for a calendar month at the cost of £60. Please note that costs are inclusive of VAT.
Loan boxes will need to be collected and returned to the Museum during our usual opening hours:
Tuesday- Friday (10-5) All Year
Monday-Open for collection & drop offs (10-5) All year
Saturday & Sunday 10-5 (June, July, August only)
